The following event management tools will assist you in planning your event at Occidental.


The Detailed Event Checklist is a comprehensive list all of the components involved in planning an event on-campus. This document should prompt discussion of important details in the planning process.


The Event Budget Worksheet is designed to help you keep track of all expenses related to the event.  Your overall budget should be approved prior to each event.


The Event Timeline is designed to assist you in framing out the course of your event.  The timeline should include contact information for all vendors.  It is good practice to make extra copies of the completed timeline to bring to each event to provide to your vendors.  A copy of the timeline and a site plan for your event should be sent to the Fire Marshal for approval (see Risk Management website for Fire Marshal details.)


The Event Checklist Summary serves as a final check-off two days prior to the event.  At this point, all details should be in place.
