Russian Studies offers you the opportunity to study the language, literature, art, history, and culture of the Russian people.
The program highlights the importance of Russian culture and the Russian people to world culture. If you intend to focus your studies in Russian, you can do so through either a minor in Russian or a major in Comparative Studies in Literature and Culture with a Russian emphasis.
A minor in Russian language consists of five courses (20 units) numbered RUSS 202 and above. Three of the five courses must be completed as Occidental courses.
